Nature-Friendly Shopping

f_11310563694_ecofriendlyproducts.jpgUsually, when we go out to shop, we end up going home

at the end of the day with lots of plastic bags from different stores. Plastic bags that would most likely end up on garbage cans thus adding wastes to the community.

So I’m sharing here my personal tips on having an eco-friendly shopping.

Plan your shopping to save fuel if you have your own car, to save money if you’re commuting and save time.

Buy and use only rechargeable batteries for your gadgets and other household items.

Buy only appliances that contribute less to global warming.

Bring your own container when you order takeout food instead of using styro foams usually offered by fastfoods and restaurants.

Bring your own shopping bags to avoid using plastic bags usually given by stores and malls.

Buy products with refillable containers.

If possible, buy products with less packaging.

Most importantly, only buy necessary items.

Actually, that’s not all. There are lots of way to

have an eco-friendly shopping but what I have enumerated above are the usual thing I do. So if you have one way, please do share it too. You’re not just helping yourself save money and time, because you’re helping nature as well.
